TSHCSW South East Council of the Greater Chattanooga area offers monthly contact hours for healthcare social workers and networking with others in the healthcare field.

We are fortunate to be in an ever-evolving "learn something new everyday" profession.
We are dedicated to be "perpetual learners" in order to be most efficient in this helping profession.
We are committed to supporting each other while facing the challenges of our patients.

When do we meet
The South-East Council of Chattanooga meets
every 4th Wednesday of the Month
11:30am - 1:00pm

Attention to all Social Work Majors
The Tennessee Society of Health Care Social Workers is now accepting applications for the
Kate Perry Memorial Scholarship
Three $2000 scholarships to be awarded for Fall Semester 2024
One Scholarship will be awarded to
Undergraduate Social Work Major

Graduate level Social Work Major.
The final scholarship can be in either program.
You may obtain further information from
your Social Work Department.

Applications must be postmarked/submitted NO LATER than March 22, 2024
​
In order to be considered for this scholarship a student must meet the following criteria:
1 Must be attending an accredited college or university in southeast Tennessee.
2 Must have declared Social Work as his/her major.
3 Must have completed at least one year in the social work department in pursuit of a bachelor’s or
master’s degree, and be in good standing with the University.
